Bryce Meyer

Bryce Meyer’s work has been described as having a deadpan quality; distinctive, fresh and brave.

Native to Calgary and born into and artistic family, Bryce was immersed in the arts at an early age. He bought his first camera using his rent money. Self-taught for the most part, his technical training was “old school” mentorship and years in the darkroom. Traveling the planet in search of the perfect light, taking him everywhere from the hallowed dirt paths of Cambodia’s Killing Fields to the Belarusian capital of Minsk, Bryce has developed a distilled and graphic approach to his work.

I know that the accident of my being a photographer has made my life possible. -Richard Avedon
