David Foxcroft

David Foxcroft received a Diploma in Fine Arts, with a major in painting from the Alberta College of Art & Design in 1977, and began to show regularly in Calgary and other Canadian cities through 1988. During this period he also held a teaching position at ACAD from 1979 to 1986. His work has been published in a number of catalogues, and the book titled, Artists of Alberta, the University of Alberta Press. Dave has work in private collections in Italy, Belgium and throughout Canada. Corporate collections include the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Canada Council Art Bank. David’s work continues to combine photo pieces from a number of different print sources, as well as found objects to create a pictorial architecture, a construction of invented spaces. |
